Nullarbor

Survived the Nullarbor. Nullarbor is latin for "No Trees" and there weren't very many trees to be found in the this desolate area.

Stopped in at Eucla, this roadhouse a few miles from the WA / SA border. There were these massive sand dunes and some old ruins of a telegraph station.

Saw a really big dustdevil, it was so big it looked almost like a tornado.

It was a long drive, but we finally arrived safely in Adelaide.

Long way to go...

A little straight stretch of road.

The moon always looks really small in photos...

A really wide load

Sand dunes.

Really big sand dune.

Ruins of the old telegraph office

More sand!

A long way from everywhere

A lot of critters to look out for.

The Great Australian Bight

Desolation

Some windmills.

Found your blog by clicking "next blog", saying hello.

Those photos are lovely and a little desolate. That was a long drive, but the weather looked good.

If you visit me, please leave a comment of no more than seven words or less! Have a great day.

Thanks, we did actually get a little shower one day. But the biggest problem was the temperature. It was over 42C. I was really glad to get to Adelaide and have a nice long shower after all that.
